Before you start riding, it’s important to make sure your bike is in good shape. First, check that your tires are properly inflated; they should be firm but not too hard. Next, test your brakes to ensure they stop the bike smoothly and quickly.

Finally, check the chain to make sure it’s not rusty or too dry and is well-lubricated. Keeping your bike in good condition helps with safety by preventing accidents and makes your ride more enjoyable.

Instead, choose snug-fitting clothes that won’t interfere with your bike ride and keep you visible and safe. Also, be mindful of loose shoelaces, as they can get caught in the gears while riding.

Keep a good distance from parked cars while riding your bike. This way, you avoid the risk of getting hit if a car door suddenly opens. Drivers might not see you when they open their doors, so staying clear helps you stay safe.

Also, be cautious around vehicles that are turning. They might not see you, or they could cut you off as they turn. By keeping a safe distance from both parked cars and turning vehicles, you reduce the chance of accidents and stay safer on the road.
